"Maybe It’s Just This Company…"

For years, I kept switching jobs thinking, “Maybe it’s just this company.” 😉Six roles in 10+ years of working in HR, and still… nothing had felt truly right.

The truth? I love helping people, but in HR, I wasn’t able to do it in the way that felt authentic to me. I thought I had a job problem—turns out what I really had, was an alignment problem.

It wasn’t until I had my first complimentary coaching call back in 2021 where I said out loud what deep down I had always known (and was afraid to acknowledge): I needed something different than this. Coaching (i.e. reflective listening and genuine curiosity) gave me the space to name it, explore it, and take action on it. And that's when the shift began.

Ever feel like you’re working against yourself instead of with yourself?

Like, you recognize you're capable and hardworking (obviously) — but the work just doesn’t quite fit?

Well, you’re not alone.

When things are off, burnout, frustration, and even imposter syndrome can sneak in.

Signs You’re Out of Alignment:

🔸You feel drained...even when the workload isn’t “too much”🔸You often question yourself or feel like you’re falling short🔸You’re just not excited anymore (or maybe you never were)🔸You feel like you’re forcing yourself into a role that doesn’t quite fit

On the flip side, when your strengths DO align with what you’re doing and how you’re living, things feel easier - more natural. There's energy... and confidence —like you’re finally in the right lane!

Signs You’re Aligned:

🔸You feel purpose and satisfaction in what you do🔸You get into flow easily (you lose track of time—in a good way)🔸You feel seen, valued, and confident in your contributions🔸Even the hard days feel worth something.

So what are some things you can do?

💡Get clear on your strengths ➡️ What comes naturally to you? What lights you up? What do others rely on you for?

💡Check in on your current role (and life) ➡️ Are your strengths being used and valued? Or are they up there, sitting on the shelf?

💡Start making small shifts ➡️ Sometimes alignment isn’t about a total career overhaul. It could start with a small conversation, a new boundary, or a shift in perspective.

💡Where do you feel most like yourself in your work? And where do you feel like you’re faking it just to get by?

If these questions are tugging at something for you, you don’t have to navigate it alone. That’s what coaching is for—getting clear on what you want, what’s in your way, and what’s next. Know that I’m cheering you on always!

I believe deeply in the power of people (especially women) advocating for themselves and stepping into their worth. That’s why I’m so excited about 'Advocate & Elevate'—a space for women to come together, support one another, and rise with clarity, confidence, and community!
